R Cooper Long is a Floridian, with a heart in Wyoming, who resides in Colorado. His music is sitting in a thrift store somewhere between Tin Pan Alley and Drag City both stylistically and physically. As a solo artist, he performs on piano and guitar but spends his “professional” life in the rhythm section, drumming for a myriad of touring acts including The Yawpers and Casper Allen. Cooper has played such venues as the Fox Theatre in Boulder, Colorado, The White Horse in Austin, Texas, and the Silver Dollar Bar in Jackson, Wyoming.
